  • Bottom line: Smoking can actually make you feel more nervous and anxious. Stay at the table and talk with your friends until the feeling passes.

Don’t set yourself up for failure with unrealistic expectations. We can’t pick and choose our life, but we can sure change it (for good or bad) by adjusting our expectations. If you expect quitting to be hard, it will be.
